During a previous meeting, each Scout designed her own "stepping stone". At the Bridging Ceremony, these stones created our bridge to cross from Junior Girl Scouts to Cadette Girl Scouts. Paige created the number 13 in her stone to commemorate the year she became a Cadette.
The girls opened the ceremony with a flag ceremony. The color guard was made up of Troop 2327 and Troop 1861. After reciting the Girl Scout Promise and Law, each girl shared her favorite part of Scouting. The green Junior vest was shed and each Scout received her new Cadette vest and year pin. In the coming weeks, we will complete our Bridge to Cadettes badge.
